Pet Shop Boys announced on their official website yesterday that they will be bringing their acclaimed “Electric Tour Live” back to the United States for more dates in 2014. It had been revealed earlier this month that the British synth duo would headline the dance stage at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and now fans can look forward to them headlining the first night of the Moogfest 2014 in North Carolina. The award-winning electronic pioneers have also announced new tour dates in California, Texas, Arizona, New Jersey and New York.
“Electric Tour Live” is the latest stage production by Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe to tour the world and started in 2012. The tour is built around tracks from their deliciously uptempo album “Electric” and features performances from their extensive catalog of hits.
Diehard fans of the Pet Shop Boys have a unique opportunity to purchase VIP tickets to the “Electric Tour Live,” which includes premium seating and a meet-and-greet with Neil and Chris. What makes this experience unique is that unlike most meet-and-greet opportunities one may come across fans are actually taken backstage to meet the duo one at a time for a very personal encounter. The Examiner was lucky enough to take advantage of this experience last fall and highly recommends it to anyone that has ever wished to meet two of the most important men in the history of dance and electronic music.
VIP tickets to the Pet Shop Boys' “Electric Tour Live” are extremely limited and are on sale now here. General seating will go on sale tomorrow. Pet Shop Boys' latest album "Electric" is also available now on iTunes and at all major retailers.
