Pop star Jessica Simpson has tweeted a possibility she may be giving up meat in the near future. More specifically, Simpson says she'll be sacrificing pork if she decides to adopt a pet pig.
Simpson, who lost her beloved pet Maltipoo Daisy in a coyote kidnapping last year, tweeted about her considerations of getting a pet pig on Monday.
"I'm thinking about getting a pet pig. Does this mean I'll have to give up pork?" she wrote on Monday, obviously forgetting momentarily she'd sported a "Real Girls Eat Meat" shirt during Summer, 2008.

While Jessica may be fiening for a new friend, she wouldn't be the first celebrity with her eye on a piglet. Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton tweeted of her pet pig adoption in October 2009 and irritated PETA in the process.
"So excited for my new piglette to come home to me. I just picked out the cutest piggy from Patty at Royaldand," the socialite tweeted of her new adoption. Later, PETA came down on Paris for her irresponsible pet pig adoption.
According to celeb news vine TMZ, PETA reps responded: "[Paris is ] “wretched example” by treating animals like they’re “as disposable as her friends and fiances.” Later adding, "The Chihuahuas, ferrets, and kinkajous she’s paraded through her home in the pastwere not accessories, and pot-bellied pigs aren’t either.”
