Pet photos at JC Penney to benefit Ohio Pet Food Bank

Toledo area residents can help feed Ohio pets in need when they bring their pets in for professional photographs at JC Penney Portrait Studios in Maumee. The Shops at Fallen Timbers location will be taking pet photos on Monday, Feb. 11 and Monday, March 11, 2012. Pet owners who bring in a donation of pet food will receive a free sheet of photos in addition to any other photo package they choose to purchase.

Photographers will be on hand for pet portraits from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and owners must call 419-878-2765 in advance for an appointment.

Ohio Pet Food Bank is run by Humane Ohio, a non-profit organization that offers low-cost spay and neuter for cats and dogs in the Toledo area. The food bank gives a helping hand to pet owners who cannot afford to feed their pets, and also provides cat food to those who minister to feral and stray cats in the area. All pet food is donated by private individuals as well as Pet Supplies Plus, Target, and Petco stores in the area.
