Traveling with your pet can be a difficult when trying to stay at hotels. They have become
strict on pet policies, but you must remember, it’s because they have to. Going to the pool
or out to dinner and leaving your pet unattended in the room is not recommended. Take your pet
with you where you can, in cases where you can’t, use a travel carrier to confine them for
short times. You know your pets’ behavior; if they need it, use it. You will avoid a lot of
stress and save some money. Loud or destructive animals will only result in being removed
from the property and/or expensive charges to your credit card.
Our pets are like our children; bring comforting items for them too. Most hotels limit you
to two pets per room and some limit the size of the animal. Be sure to let the hotel know if you are bringing any pets when you make the reservation and again at check in.
All of the hotels below allow cats and dogs.
