‘PES 2014’ PS4 and Xbox 720 physics details revealed (Photos)

More details have been posted for the upcoming multiplatform title, “PES 2014,” which is most likely coming out for the PS4 and Xbox 720. According to a report by Gamepur on March 10, the latest installment of the “Pro Evolution Soccer” franchise will utilize a new physics engine called “Barycentre Physics.” The different body parts of a player will be weighted differently. As a result, the strength of impacts and collisions (which is now similar to the “FIFA” franchise) will vary depend on the area of the body. You can check out some development images of “PES 2014,” as well as some shots of the PS4 accessories and user interfaces, in the slideshow at the top of this article.

The “Barycentre Physics” engine is part of a new next-generation game engine that the developer will be using for the potential PS4 and Xbox 720 versions. “PES 2014” currently does not have a release date.

The PS4 and Xbox 720 should be released in North America by the end of 2013.
