The editors of Perspectives 2, the sequel to the widely-acclaimed Perspectives: Poetry Concerning Autism and Other Disabilities, edited and compiled by Long Island Autism Examiner Marc Rosen and former Long Island Poetry Examiner James Wagner, have announced that January 31st, 2012 will be the deadline for all submissions for this collection.

Contributing poets are asked to send up to five poems, both in the body of the email and as an attached file, along with a brief third-person bio to perspectivesanthology@gmail.com. A copy of the original call for submissions can be viewed with this article.

The ever-elusive editors have stated that Perspectives is one of the most important collections they produce on behalf of The Bards Initiative, a Long Island-based poetry organization which specializes in collections of poetry for various important causes. They have sworn that they will not rest until they can include even more than the over-fifty contributors who comprised the first entry in this series. Readers are encouraged to tell everyone they know
