Goosie Cards got my kids excited about summer fun!
I recently learned about a company called Goosie Cards, which makes personalized flash cards for children.
In an effort to get my kids excited about all the summer fun to be had, I created a set of 10 cards featuring my kids doing summer activities. My set included pictures of my kids swimming, riding tricycles and running through the sprinklers.
I simply uploaded my pictures, wrote a few words to go with each, and in less than 15 minutes I was done. The hardest part was deciding what pictures to use!
When the flashcards arrived, I was excited to see they were printed on heavy card-stock and laminated - they are very durable and withstand any wear and tear an aggressive toddler can throw at 'em.
The best part is that my kids really do enjoy looking at and playing with their Goosie Cards - and I love that they're excited about all the fun they're going to have this summer!
Price: $28 for 10 cards.
Tip: Use horizontal pictures as possible. Vertical pictures are harder to see and don't fill up the entire space.

Two things I love about these cards: 1) they seem to be waterproof, so we never worry about the kiddos spilling any on them, and 2) I'm convinced they've helped my daughter with her language - she loves saying what she sees in the pictures. Very cool product!
So glad that you like the cards! We are developing our next generation of editing tools so the Vertical picture issue will be fixed. Look for it late summer!
