Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a full-time one, this weekend is for you, with two different events designed to bring out your inner Barbarian!
Redfrog Events brings its popular Warrior Dash back to Copper Mountain this weekend for the third year in a row. One of the first mainstream “adventure races” to tour across America, The Warrior Dash has built year after year, adding more obstacles (fire jump, anyone?), entertainment from Dread Zeppelin, and fund raising opportunities to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Go to their website for all the details!
To the North of Denver is the 2012 Armbrust Pro Gym Warrior Classic, presented by Colorado-owned Tokyo Joe’s. Brought to you by Michael Alexander and professional fitness competitor Carol Semple (the first person to win both the Fitness International and the Fitness Olympia in the same year) The Warrior Classic is one of the year’s top NPC-Sanctioned bodybuilding, figure, fitness, and bikini competitions in Colorado.
The 2012 Warrior Classic is hosted at the Embassy Suites Loveland, just up the road from Denver.
Several other events join the Warrior Classic at their show to make this an unforgettable weekend: The Brian Shaw Strongman Classic, two CrossFit Warrior Challenges, by Alpine CrossFit and CrossFit MHF, a grappling demo from MFW, and a bench press/deadlift competition from Team Tom.
If you’re interested in shedding the mundane life of the cubicle warrior for the weekend, come check out one of these events for the true Warrior, just an easy drive from Denver!
