‘Person of Interest’ discovers 'Relevance' on CBS

Tonight's episode of “Person of Interest” was titled "Relevance." The newest name from the machine is a woman in Germany. As she strolls past a coffee bar, a policeman looks at her up and down. When she walks into a building, two men accost her and ask why she is following them. The policeman happens by, but she kills the two men and knocks the policeman out. A voice asks if she found a certain person, but she regrets that she did not.

As she and her partner leave the building, they go to the roof of another building and drop a camera down into an apartment. They see people making a dirty bomb. She makes a call and asks permission to engage; she gets the green light. As she tapes up the door of the apartment, her partner slips a hose containing gas into the apartment next to the camera. He sees one person drop to the floor, then two more. She enters the apartment with a mask on. Suddenly, she feels a breeze, and one has opened a window and now ready to kill her. She finally takes him out as her accomplice gave her his position. She is going to remove her bullets from his body and make the getaway. He tells her that he will see her tomorrow in New York City, another number has come up, and then never seem to stop coming.

In the city, she met a man who gave her the new number. The number is a man named James Mercer, a veteran who was wired $10,000 from an offshore account. He receives a phone call telling him tomorrow is the day. As the couple meets again in a van, he wonders where the numbers come from, and if they are ever wrong; even if they do not know who they are. They refer to the source of the numbers as, research. Suddenly, she realizes that he has done something wrong. Talking about a spy who had money sent to his account from Hezbollah, he went further and found the money came from the U.S. Government, and that he spoke to Wilson about it. As he is looking into the man's computer, a box comes up that tells him it is a trap and get out now. Shots ring out and the man is shot. She tries to get him out, but he is wounded very badly and dies.

In he hallway as she is trying to get away, John appears. As he attempts to talk to her, she shoots at him. When he gets away, Wilson gets a call to say he lost her, and the caller is Pennsylvania Two. Kara listens from her desk as he tells Wilson that they killed her partner and are now after her. He states that she may have information that could endanger their entire project. Wilson tells him that he believes that he clipped her, so she should not be far away. She attacked a drug dealer and brought him to his lair where she wants drugs to take her bullet out. She accomplishes the mission and tells him that she was a Marine. She tells him to tie himself up with the dealer she brought in with her, in case she loses consciousness. More thugs come into the apartment and threaten her, but she kills them all. Pennsylvania Two and Hersh are discussing her, and they know that she may come after them now; after all, they knew why they hired her in the first place.

Wilson called her and told her to turn herself in, she told him that she would only do so to the boss, or she would go to the police with the Aquino files; which was why her partner got killed. Then she knocked on a door, when a woman answered, she said hello to Veronica. It was not Veronica; it was Kara who had Veronica tied up. As Kara checked her phone, the trained killers were coming, Kara left, but not before she used a stun gun on her and tied her to a chair.

When they came in, one tried to put a hypodermic needle in her, she grabbed his gun and shot him dead. She then took out the other two. Next, John showed up and he asked her not to shoot him this time. He took her to meet with Harold. She asked if he worked for Wilson; but he told her that she was in grave danger. He showed her that her number came up, and she told him she did not need his help.

She met with Pennsylvania Two and Wilson and another man, she then killed Wilson. As she waked away, he told the other man to let her go. She is a good soldier. Then as she was on the street, Hersh stabbed her in the gut with a hypodermic needle, and she died on the spot. As the police put her in a body bag, her body was intercepted by Carter and Fusco and put into an ambulance. Then John and Harold showed up at a cemetery, where Bear licked her face. The driver of the ambulance was Leon Tao, who administered the antidote in time. Now her affiliates believe she is dead and this time. she took Harold's card with his phone number for future reference and she is no longer a "Person of Interest."
