Futsal is a fast paced indoor soccer game, perfect for those of us waiting out the winter months indoors. With futsal, Michiganders do not have to wait for spring to develop their soccer skills. Similar to soccer, futsal is played by kicking a ball around other players and into the other teams goal. Futsal is often a faster paced game than soccer played on a hard court with a smaller ball.
The surface, ball & rules create an emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique as well as ball control and passing in small spaces. (Wikipedia)
