The new skincare line Perfect Pearl, recently launched at Barneys in New York City and I was invited to cover this event.
Perfect Pearl has been especially created for the unique needs of new mothers and babies by company founder and product creator Ying Zhou.
Ying's inspiration for the skincare line came when her first daughter was a newborn and her visiting grandmother gave her some coveted pearl powder. Pearl powder is know to have been used as skin conditioner throughout history; and as pearl extract has properties to help heal and provide vitality to the skin, Ying realized the need to share this ancient secret with the world.
Geared especially to help mom and baby, the two lines contain specific products that offer skincare solutions from pregnancy to childhood.
