"Perception" season 2 airs its summer finale, episode 10, next week, and while the latest episode ended with the dreaded "To be continued," TNT aired a preview of "Warriors" Tuesday, Aug. 20, teasing what's next after that cliffhanger.
The last "Perception" episode, "Wounded," saw Kate (Rachael Leigh Cook) become determined to the point of obsession to bring Rickford down for rape and murder, and while Daniel (Eric McCormack) and Donnie (Scott Wolf) were worried about her, they were too late in the end. By the time they found her at Rickford's, she was on the floor and Rickford had been shot dead. So what's coming up next?
In the next episode, Kate is facing criminal charges after she took things into her own hands, and Daniel and Donnie are determined to clear her name. However, conflicting evidence builds, and even Kate begins to question her own innocence. Did she shoot an innocent man (or at least a man just guilty of being a complete slimeball considering what he said to her after the lawyers met with the judge)?
The "Warriors" promo to the left teases what comes next for Kate, and Donnie's determined to be the one to defend her. But even Kate thinks she may have messed up. "I killed a man for no reason," she says as the preview ends. But could the clip of Daniel bursting into the courtroom and telling Kate not to do something be the moment after he has figured everything out and found a way to help her? We're not worried about Kate's future—this is only the summer finale and the series has been renewed for a third season—but we are curious about what's really going on with this case. Plus, don't forget to check out the photos TNT has released for this episode in the slideshow.
