Pepsi-flavored Cheetos are becoming a fan favorite in other countries including Japan and could be on there way to a store near you very soon according to Thursday, August 15 reports from the LA Times.
Cheetos' manufacture Frito-Lay claim that Pepsi-flavored Cheetos are quickly becoming a trend in Japan, but snack food lovers want to know when they can get an ETA on when they can expect to see the Pepsi-flavored Cheetos on store shelves in the United States.
Impulse Buy writer described the Pepsi-flavored Cheetos:
"The first sensation, which I did not expect, was a very acidic bite," wrote Impulse Buy writer Steve. "It tries to capture the citrus notes of Pepsi, but it's over the top. Too lemony. The sweeter cola flavor is there but it's subtler and overpowered by the intense citrus."
The snacks are also said to carry a distinct fizz with "definite popping and crackling."
For now Pepsi-flavored Cheetos are not available in the United States, and it is not clear when or if they ever will be, but if you are curious about the snack food it has been hunted down on eBay for $3.99.
What do you think about the snack food combo, is this something that interests you and would you like to see them on store shelves in the United States?
