It's tea time!
It's tea time!

This weekend has been wet, rainy, and humid. In addition, the vog is out there too. There has been flooding in Hawaii. Unfortunately, holiday plans to go to the beach for the locals as well as the tourists have been cancelled. If you’re feeling sick from a respiratory viral infection there is an herbal tea that can help. Peppermint herbal tea works extremely well for treating respiratory viral infections. Peppermint contains menthol, a very volatile oil useful for clearing congestion from colds and chest infections. Did you know if you’re feeling stressed that a cup of hot peppermint herbal tea can calm you? Yes. It sure can. Also, if you have diabetes it can provide you with a variety of nutrients you might be deficient in. Peppermint contains vitamins B2, B3, C, E, beta-carotene, folate, magnesium, calcium, and iron. In addition, drinking a cup of hot peppermint tea can decrease inflammation and keep your blood healthy. Since the mineral calcium is in peppermint you’ll gain another health benefit. What benefit is that? Your bones and teeth will become stronger.

The weather outside may be miserable but that doesn’t mean you have to feel the same way. It’s time for peppermint tea time. Stay calm and relax while you sip a hot cup of peppermint tea. Listen to soothing music and soon you will fall asleep.

Enjoy a peppermint herbal healing this holiday weekend.
