Show your support for the USA Eagles Wednesday, Feb. 6, at a pep rally at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. The Team USA rugby players will be competing at Sam Boyd Stadium Feb. 8–10 in the 2013 USA Sevens international rugby tournament.
Festivities will begin at 10:30 a.m. with music and light bites from PBR Rock Bar & Grill. The USA Sevens cheerleaders will kick off the pep rally at 11:00 and will be followed by appearances by Team USA players, including rising rugby star Carlin Isles, and Head Coach Alexander Magleby..
The event will take place outside on the center’s south entrance by PBR Rock Bar & Grill and is free and open to the public.
The annual USA Sevens international rugby tournament is the fifth of nine events in the HSBC Sevens World Series. Sixteen international rugby teams will play 45 matches during a three-day competition.
Rugby Sevens is played on a traditional size field with just seven players per team and seven-minute halves with two-minute intervals for pool and knockout matches.
