The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino hosted a pep rally to honor the USA Eagles who will be competing in the 2014 USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament held at Sam Boyd Stadium this weekend. Just outside PBR Rock Bar & Grill the rally kicked off with music and a performance by the USA Sevens cheerleaders and welcome toast by former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman.
Guests met USA Eagles captain Nick Edwards and other members including retired professional football player and rugby liaison Ahman Green. Students from Coronado High School drum line turned the rally up and closed it with an impact of a performance.
Every year USA Sevens international rugby tournament attend from 16 international teams to play 45 matches during a three day competition for the Sevens World Series. Each team is played with seven players per team on the same size field but unlike tradition rugby teams of 15 players.
