Peoria Public Library to hold Dr. Seuss event

The Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration at the Peoria Public Library will now be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 9. This event was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 2. Everyone is invited to this party, which will honor one of the world's most beloved children's authors.

The celebration will be held in the children's area of the Main Library. The event will include stories, movies, art projects and treats. The Cat in the Hat will also make an appearance, and kids can get their picture taken with him.

This event is open to people of all ages, and there is no cost. Activities will be available as supplies last.

Dr. Seuss was born March 2, 1904, and his birthday is celebrated annually.
