Tomorrow night I’m going to a movie in Santa Fe for a couple of nights, People vs. The State of Illusion.
This film is one of the new attempts like “What the Bleep”( with more to come no doubt), to explain the fundamental role consciousness plays in the nature of reality. Getting these new understandings explained by people who have done long and intense research to present them (I hope in an entertaining way!) can be a powerful support in the midst of change, and trying to get somewhere new.
I could use a reminder that the one thing we have control over is what we choose to think, and think about. If you want some consciousness-raising of your own , it’s at The Screen this Thursday February 20th, and Friday night at the Santa Fe Center for Spiritual Living in Santa Fe, both shows 7 pm. The trailer looks interesting, and the former lawyer who wrote and produced it, Austin Vickers, will be there to answer questions.
