The findings tell us, that of the 8 browsers they tracked, Chrome took 1st place by a landslide. Last month, Chrome had a 34.68% market share, which is more than the combined shares Firefox, IE and Opera held.
In 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, were Firefox and Safari.
Among the mobile browsers, Android was #1 (#5 overall), followed by Safari (in-app) which placed 6th overall, and then Opera Mini (which placed 2nd to last overall).
Other surprising results of this study include the fact that Android and Chrome were the fastest growing browsers. This year alone, the Android stock browser grew nearly 27%. Chrome grew almost 16%.
