People's (216 Court Avenue, Des Moines) will be the sight of Deacon's Day VI, a concert event benefitting Habitat for Humanity, on Saturday, February 11. Doors for the event open at 6 pm, and the concert will run from 7 pm to 10:30 pm. A jam session will follow from 10:30 pm to close. Tickets for the concert are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and $10 for HYP (Habitat Young Professionals) members. There will be a $5 cover charge for the jam session. You must be 21 or older to attend this event.

The night will also feature food and drink, a raffle, and a silent auction. All of the proceeds will go to the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity, which makes home ownership possible and affordable for so many low income families in Central Iowa each year.
