People's to host a night of music benefitting Habitat for Humanity

People's (216 Court Avenue, Des Moines) will be the sight of Deacon's Day VI, a concert event benefitting Habitat for Humanity, on Saturday, February 11. Doors for the event open at 6 pm, and the concert will run from 7 pm to 10:30 pm. A jam session will follow from 10:30 pm to close. Tickets for the concert are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and $10 for HYP (Habitat Young Professionals) members. There will be a $5 cover charge for the jam session. You must be 21 or older to attend this event.

The night's festivities will be emceed by former Des Moines Mayor Preston Daniels, with HYP and Bella Soul serving as hosts. Here is a list of the evening's featured musicians:
