The 40th annual People’s Choice Awards is being held in downtown Los Angeles later this week. According to The Boot on Monday, there has been more entertainment added to the lineup. Brad Paisley, Sara Bareilles and OneRepublic are expected to perform. Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are expected to appear. Of course, the reason viewers love the show is that the fans can vote for their favorite stars on television and in the movies. Offering 58 different categories to vote on, it might be a bit of an overwhelming task, but that doesn’t matter because it is the People’s Choice Awards.

Thinking of voting on all the offbeat categories to share your opinion? Not a bad idea. The award show has several great categories that won’t be found at the other award shows this month. Including the must-vote category of “Favorite TV Bromance.” Including stars from “Glee,” “Castle” and even “How I Met Your Mother,” the fans get to choose which are the chummiest.

The award for the “Favorite New Talk Show Host” has fans picking from some new faces in the daytime and nighttime selections. Bethenny Frankel, Arsenio Hall and Jenny McCartney have fans putting in the time to vote for their favorite stars.

Breaking Bad fans might be finding a lot of time voting on the category of the “Favorite Series We Miss Most.” Highlighting shows that ended in 2013, the competition is fierce with Breaking Bad up against “Dexter,” “Fringe,” “The Office,” and “30 Rock.”

So who will win the awards on Wednesday night? Well it’s the people’s decision and hopefully every viewer who is a fan will be watching the People’s Choice Awards.
