The 40th Annual People's Choice Awards will kick off the 2014 red carpet fashion and style season, and on Jan. 8, Hollywood’s talented fashionistas will show off this year’s best fashion trends. From who’s wearing whom and what, to who will make the best or worst dressed on the red carpet, fashion fans are looking forward to what’s hot and what’s not.
For fashion devotees, the People's Choice Awards are a fashion preview of the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and ultimately, the Academy Awards.
We always look forward to seeing Katy Perry on the red carpet. The singer usually goes for either sexy or quirky, but at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards, she switched it up for something we thought was quite elegant, but most fashionistas seem to either love it or hate it.
Perry was the picture of simple, sweet and feminine in a printed floral Valentino dress, which she accessorized with Jimmy Choo heels and Sylva & Cie earrings. While the dress did not scream red carpet, Perry still made it look fabulous, especially with those accessories.
Though the singer cancelled her appearance at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards, her 2011 red carpet look left us with a sweet smile. The singer rocked a fun and flirty Betsey Johnson Spring 2011 dress with pink Cadsadei heels.
For the 2014 People’s Choice Awards, we are hoping for something fun from the singer who is nominated for several awards including Favorite Music Video, Favorite Music Fan Following, Favorite Song, Favorite Female Artist, and Favorite Pop Artist.
According to CBS News, this year’s People’s Choice Awards will be hosted by “2 Broke Girls” stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.
