The 40th annual People's Choice Awards winners will be announced tonight after the red carpet live stream video, according to a Jan. 8 International Business Times report. The PCAs will be hosted by "2 Broke Girls" actors Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings, and it will air live on TV tonight.

The People's Choice Awards 2014 winners will be announced live from the Nokia Theater at 8 p.m. CST. The show will air on CBS, which is channel 9 in Oklahoma City. Dave Karger, SuChin Pak, and Tim Gunn will host the People's Choice Awards 2014 live stream red carpet before the main event starting at 7 p.m. CST. You can catch this live stream video as all the nominees, guests, and performers arrive and take to the red carpet at PeoplesChoice.com.

The fans, or the "people," have voted on their favorite nominees in several categories including musicians, movies, TV shows, and celebrities. Nominees include, "Despicable Me 2," "Fast & Furious 6," "Iron Man 3," "Monsters University," and "Star Trek Into Darkness" for favorite movie. For Favorite Movie Actor the nominees are Channing Tatum, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Robert Downey Jr. Finally, People's Choice Awards nominees for Favorite Movie Actress include, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Melissa McCarthy, Sandra Bullock, and Scarlett Johansson.

While the PCAs are certainly not the Academy awards, they are important because the fans themselves voted on the nominees in each category, which gives a good feel for actual viewers' favorite TV, movie, and actors. Be sure to tune in tonight to CBS at 8 p.m. CST, and catch the PCAs live stream video of the red carpet at 7 p.m. CST to find out which of your favorite nominees will win the People's Choice Awards.
