The fans, or the "people," have voted on their favorite nominees in several categories including musicians, movies, TV shows, and celebrities. Nominees include, "Despicable Me 2," "Fast & Furious 6," "Iron Man 3," "Monsters University," and "Star Trek Into Darkness" for favorite movie. For Favorite Movie Actor the nominees are Channing Tatum, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Robert Downey Jr. Finally, People's Choice Awards nominees for Favorite Movie Actress include, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Melissa McCarthy, Sandra Bullock, and Scarlett Johansson.

While the PCAs are certainly not the Academy awards, they are important because the fans themselves voted on the nominees in each category, which gives a good feel for actual viewers' favorite TV, movie, and actors. Be sure to tune in tonight to CBS at 8 p.m. CST, and catch the PCAs live stream video of the red carpet at 7 p.m. CST to find out which of your favorite nominees will win the People's Choice Awards.
