It’s all politics, including the worst that could happen to families. Everyone from the president to the N.R.A. is off track. There is something innately wrong with America. It’s not guns or mental illness or the level of protection to offer to children. Common sense has the answers.
To more closely analyze the statements made by those in the headlines can only draw the conclusion that this gun control rhetoric is nonsense. No one wants to admit the real reason society has been living in the gutter. That is because real responsibility must be addressed. Real solutions must be followed.
The president wants to change America to a socialistic community. This is obvious. The Republicans have no idea what is going on. So, they don’t have any solutions. Circumstances are magically playing into the hands of those who do not like the Constitution and its Second Amendment.
Famous preachers are in the headlines to sell their books and get an international reputation. Their theology is amiss. Their behavior is unimpressive. They have little to offer to those genuinely seeking God.
There is an answer to the shootings and gun control, but no one wants to admit it. It is not gun control any more than it would be car control, knife control, liquor control, or “things” control. It is people control! However, this control is not by an elite group.
People control is by the Almighty God who enters the heart and minds of sinners. It is by a sincere admission of sin and a thorough repentance. There are so many complications that lead nowhere when talking about mental illness. There are those who have been diagnosed with serious mental illness and they do not kill children. The stupidity of this path rages on and on.
America simply needs to get right with God. America simply needs to beg to God that forgiveness be granted for the pornography in movies and television. America needs forgiveness for the greed, class warfare, jealousy, and selfishness that has fed children, teens, and adults.
If this does not happen, American society will slide deeper and deeper into its own filth. It will blame someone or something and no one will take responsibility.
A short but meaningful prayer is the beginning: God, forgive me. When will America say those few words? How much more sin and killing must occur?
