If you’re considering purchasing a condo or place to call home in Lake Tahoe, the time is now while the price is right. The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe penthouses, which are conveniently located at mid-mountain at Northstar California ski resort, are going fast.

The Residences are comprised of 23 luxury penthouses that became available for sale in mid-February 2013. The remaining 10 homes are ready for immediate occupancy. They range in price from $1.67 million to $3.15 million.

“Sales were strong throughout the holiday season and into the start of the New Year, and we expect that trend to continue,” said Stuart Cramer, president of Kennedy Wilson’s Residential Investment Group. “These residences truly are unmatched in the region, and it’s exciting to see the enthusiasm buyers have for the location, amenities and level of service that only The Ritz-Carlton offers.”

Focusing on luxury home sales in and around the Northstar California and North Lake Tahoe area, owner Don Carr of luxury real estate firm Carr Long confirms there has been heightened activity over the past several months within the luxury market amid a drastic reduction of inventory across the board in the region.

“The Residences are appealing in that they offer owners access to the high level of service of The Ritz-Carlton, a wealth of on-site amenities, and for those who own multiple homes, the ease of coming and going,” Carr said. “They can literally walk out the door at the end of their visit without the hassle of closing down the property until their next visit.”

The Residences exclusively afford owners and their families the best of both worlds: convenient access to the best Tahoe has to offer, and the smart, personalized service and simple luxuries of The Ritz-Carlton.

Encompassing the entire top floor and a private wing of the third floor of The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, the region’s first Forbes Four Star and AAA Five Diamond resort, The Residences offer elevated mountain living, and are whole ownership homes consisting of two-, three-, and four-bedroom penthouses ranging from 1,554 to 3,407 square feet.

The ski-in/ski-out residences, located at an elevation of 7,000 feet, feature breathtaking views of Northstar and the Martis Valley, with each penthouse featuring a unique floor plan that is distinctive and turnkey. The remaining residences for purchase are available from $1.67 million to $3.15 million.

Owners enjoy pre-arrival concierge service, valet parking, a Residence Concierge, Ski Valet services, a private entry corridor and an elevator that delivers owners to their penthouses.

Owners also benefit from priority access to the exclusive facilities, services and amenities of the hotel, including the 17,000-square-foot spa, fine dining in the resort’s signature lounges and Manzanita restaurant, in-residence dining, Executive Business Service Center and the vibrant Ritz Kids program.

Potential buyers who wish to schedule an appointment may visit the sales office on the entry level of The Ritz-Carlton hotel or call (530) 562-3114. Visit www.rcr-laketahoe.com for more information.
