The Penquis Patriots girls basketball team will bring a three game winning streak to Dexter on Saturday afternoon for a class C battle against the top seeded Tigers.
The high powered Tigers come in averaging 60 points per game.
Dexter (7-0) defeated Penquis 62-40 on December 17th.
That dropped the Patriots to 0-3 for the season. Penquis (3-3) followed that up with victories over Stearns, Mattanawcook and Central.
Orono (6-1) currently sits at the number two spot in the class C heal point standings.
They will travel to East Millinocket to take on the 5-0 Schenck Wolverines. Schenck currently sits at number three in the class D heal point standings.
Nokomis (7-0) will start a tough four game stretch when they host Camden Hills for a 1 p.m. scheduled start.
The Hermon Hawks (3-2) will host class B top seeded Presque Isle.Wildcats.
Houlton (2-3) will host Stearns (2-6) Saturday at 7 p.m. Central (2-4) will travel to Lincoln for a 2:30 p.m. contest against Mattanawcook. Both games will be big for class C tournament seeding.
Parise Rossignol will lead the Van Buren Crusaders in a battle against undefeated Hodgdon at 5 p.m. Rossignol is coming off a 49 point performance in a 66-48 victory over Fort Kent.
