A Pittsburgh witness reported being taken during the night from her home by a "pale and florescent" man with black eyes, according to March 28, 2014, testimony in Case 54929 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The report is being investigated by Pennsylvania MUFON State Regional Director Fred Saluga as a possible alien abduction case.
"I live in Pittsburgh, PA, and I am a war veteran from the Iraq War," the witness stated. "I was asleep last night on my comfortable chair when these things happened. When I am got up the next morning, the cross I was wearing was tied up around itself and the temperature in the house was turned up to 71 degrees."
The witness described the events as they unfolded beginning about 9:14 p.m. on March 23, 2014.
"It was about 9 p.m. Sunday night and I noticed as I was watching TV it was getting hot in the room and I fell asleep. In what I thought was a dream, I was in a place that looked like my house in Erie, PA, that I grew up in. I came down the stairs from what looked like a bedroom to a kitchen, and spoke to a person I knew. I then noticed a huge black hole in the floor that came from out of nowhere. I looked down at the hole, but for some reason I wasn't afraid because this man came into the room and he was very pale and florescent, about 6-foot and had black eyes."
The man spoke.
"The man spoke to me and the other girl and said, 'This is the proof we are here,' and then he said, 'You can go back because you have gone through enough, but we will take many others.' He did not speak but was sending this telepathically."
The witness felt as though she was not dreaming and that the events were very real.
"I realized this was no dream and I went back through the hole and back to my house. After this I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night until 4 a.m. after which I did wake up at 2 p.m. the next day. When I went downstairs to eat breakfast, I realized that my cross around my neck was tied around itself, the cats had all disappeared and hid throughout the house, the temperature had been turned up to 71 degrees, and when I looked at the picture I took last night after the incident, I looked bad."
The witness included a videotape statement of her encounter and one image. Pennsylvania has a current UFO Alert Rating of 4 with a higher than average number of recent reports nationally.
