Pennsylvania witnesses at two locations report watching lights "falling from the sky" on December 11 and 12, 2011, in what appears to be two separate cases, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The first report from December 11, 2011, describes a "bright, white sphere-like object" in Case 33983.
"My boyfriend and I were driving home and we were about to turn right onto a road near his home when we both happened to be looking out the front windshield of my car and saw a larger than a star object that was bright white just fall straight down from where it was in the sky," the reporting witness stated.
The horizon was blocked by trees, but the couple continued driving to their destination and finally parked their vehicle. A second light was then seen.
"I saw a second object that looked the same, but appeared to have a different colored light as well doing the same thing - falling fast - except this one was at more of a diagonal than straight down."
The couple then report seeing planes and helicopters in the same area.
"Several planes and helicopters entered the sky afterwards; two helicopters side-by-side with bright lights very close overhead. Looked as if they were searching. Very suspicious."
Then the following night, on December 12, 2011, at 6:30 p.m., viewed from Boyd Street in McKeesport, another witness was parking a car when lights were seen.
"I noticed lights falling from the sky," the witness stated. "They fell fast, so I'm not sure what it was. They fell behind a neighbor's house. I did not go investigate where they landed or if they vanished."
But this witness reports that this was not first time this has happened - there was an incident on November 8, 2011, at about 11:40 p.m.
"I was standing in line for the newly released "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3", and it was roughly about 20 minutes until the release, when I looked across the highway (649 Clairton Blvd., Pleasant Hills, PA 15122) right above the car dealership and saw several lights falling from the sky, and then vanish."
A woman in line in front of the witness also saw the lights.
"There was nothing else visible in the sky on either night; no aircraft of any sort."
In an unrelated case on December 3, 2011, two Pennsylvania witnesses report watching a light in a nearby wooded area that moved toward them and over their home in Case 33975. No town name was mentioned.
The reporting witnesses' boyfriend first saw the light.
"I saw same thing for about 10 minutes, then it moved closer," the reporting witness stated. "We could see colored lights very faint - white, red, green and yellow I think. It happened so fast. Once it moved, it stayed over the house - only seemed for a second; then it was gone so fast."
In an unrelated case on December 9, 2011, a Pennsylvania couple report watching a "star-like object arcing towards Earth in Case 33991. No town name was mentioned.
"The object shot across the sky in an arch, and then straight towards the Earth, no longer visible. The color was a very bright starlike white and orange mix."
No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the first report. McKessport is a city in Allegheny County, population 19,731. Pleasant Hills is also in Allegheny County, population 8,268. The two towns are about 7 miles apart. No images or videos were included with either report. The above quotes were edited for clartiy.
Pennsylvania is a current UFO ALERT 3 rating, with a high number of UFO sightings nationally. Pennsylvania had 26 reports in November 2011 - the 5th highest reporting state - while California had 72 cases and is the highest reporting state in the nation.

The above case links are the unedited and as yet uninvestigated reports filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade.
