David K. Snyder, 64, passed away Sunday, 29 December. He was one of the school’s founders and a teacher in the Fine Arts and Foundation Department. His viewing is scheduled today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, 863 S. George Street, in York. The school is planning a memorial service once classes resume as well.

Over 30 paintings and drawings by the late Robert Cunningham (1924-2010) will be on display at the PCA&D from 10 January through 28 February. PCA&D is handicapped accessible. Cunningham is known for his high-key color palette, simple shapes and a strong sense of light.

Two PCA&D students have their works featured in Tellus 360's "Juried Landscape Show." Matthew Guiliano '14, an Illustrations major, Megan Wirick '16, a Fine Arts major, have their works on display in the Juried Landscape, according to PCA&D’s Facebook page. The Tellus360 gallery is located at 24 East King Street. The show opens on First Friday, 3 January, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Discuss financial aid options. Readers should register to attend the open house at http://www.pcad.edu/openhouse. The application fee will be waived for those who apply during the Open House. The spring catalog is available at www.pcad.edu/ce.

The PCA&D is located at 204 N Prince Street. Admission is free and the exhibits are open to the public. The gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The gallery will be open until 9 p.m. tomorrow for First Friday and it will be closed Monday, 20 January.
