The Penn and Teller show is one act in Las Vegas that everyone makes a point to see. Billing themselves as eccentric magicians with a psychotic twist, the act has called Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas home for the past 13 years. On Sunday Penn Jillette acknowledged the anniversary of the famous show.
“It was 13 Years ago today that Penn & Teller started at the Rio in Vegas. Time flies when you're shooting each other in the face with guns,” tweeted Penn Jillette from his official Twitter account on Sunday. The star was reminiscing on some of the pieces of the act people come from thousands of miles around to see.
The Penn and Teller show has definitely carved out a nice niche in Las Vegas. Instantly recognizable, the two magicians seem to be ambassadors of Sin City on many levels. Of course it doesn't hurt that the duo has dabbled in other mediums too. Known to be on television, radio and even a podcast, the two celebrities go way beyond the city limits of Las Vegas to share their act.
Hopefully Penn and Teller will be around Las Vegas for years to come. Fans love the duo and there is nothing like a little good magic after losing it all at the casinos.
