The Pittsburgh Penguins will enter their fourth preseason game on Monday night with a downsized roster than what they had during their last game on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday afternoon, the Penguins announced that they have trimmed their camp roster down to thirty-five players after sending eight down to the AHL.
The following eight players have been sent to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ camp:

RW Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond
LW Steve MacIntyre*
C Jayson Megna
RW Adam Payerl
D Philip Samuelsson
D Brendan Mikkelson*
D Scott Harrington
*Drazenovic, MacIntyre, and Mikkelson have until noon eastern time Monday to clear waivers before reporting to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Pittsburgh will go into Monday’s preseason game with the Chicago Blackhawks with twenty forwards, twelve defensemen, and three goaltenders on their camp roster, including injured players Tomas Vokoun, Bobby Farnham, and Brian Dumoulin. Olli Maatta and Derrick Pouliot remain with the club, but they are not eligible to play in the AHL with both only being nineteen years old. Chuck Kobasew also remains on the roster, still playing on a try-out contract.
