Penguin Parade brings fun winter event to St. Louis Zoo

The St. Louis Zoo penguins will be providing some fun, family entertainment January 20th through February 10, 2013. Though the weather outside may be "frightful" for some, it's perfect for penguins, who will delight visitors with their Penguin Parade at 2:00 p.m. each Sunday that the temperature stays below 50 degrees.

The Penguin Parade is part of the St. Louis Zoo's Delta Dental Winter Zoo. Each Sunday during the above-mentioned dates, the Winter Zoo will feature penguin related games, activities and crafts as well as a chance for kids to learn some cool facts about penguins. Radio Disney will be on hand to help everyone get grooving and warm up with great music.

Delta Dental will also bring their Land of Smiles stage show to the St. Louis Zoo at 11:30 and 3:00 p.m. each Sunday. This funny cast of characters will teach kids how to take good care of their teeth so that they can enjoy smiling at penguins and everything else they love, for a lifetime!

Please note there will be no 3:00 p.m. Delta Dental show on February 10th, but you can still see the Land of Smiles characters as they lead a Mardi Gras parade through the zoo.

If you love penguins, or you just want some cool winter fun, head out to the St. Louis Zoo in January or February and check out the Penguin Parade.
