Get ready to volunteer for a great cause this year. The 2nd Annual Chicago Volunteer Expo takes place at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum located at 2430 N. Cannon drive, Chicago, IL. This wonderful get together of non-profits helps us learn what groups are out there. This event is special because it educates us about the causes in the community. Save the date and come out on Sunday, February 16th, 2014, starting at 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.

There will be over 75 organizations looking for help through volunteers. For those who love to already giving back to the community, or those just starting out, this is a great chance to learn about the places and causes to help out around town.

This event and others are listed on the Meet-up Group Chicago Fun Volunteers website located at http://www.meetup.com/Chicago-Fun-Volunteers. Some non-profit organizations would not be in business (to help others), if it weren't for their volunteer staff giving of their time to their causes. A thanks in advance to all of the people that donate their time to these great causes, and by committing to give back this year !!!
