Pee-Wee Herman talks Disney’s Star Tours at Comic-Con (Video)

Pee-Wee Herman’s voice isn’t heard on the Star Tours attraction at Disneyland anymore. And it’s just fine with the celebrity. At the Comic-Con in San Diego on Thursday, the actor was asked about his involvement with the popular Disneyland attraction and what it meant after his voice was removed after the remodeling. The actor voiced the funny robot on the ride during the upgrade.

"As long as the voice was part of the ride, I had a free pass and could go to Disney any time I wanted.  And that's Disney.  That's a great pass.  I used it all the time,” said Pee-Wee Herman.

Without the voice on the attraction it appears that the possibility of going to the Disney parks could be costly. That is until he found out the lifetime pass was actually for a lifetime. The reps at Disney reportedly wrote to the actor to let him know to come back as often as he liked as the pass was still valid.

While we don’t get to hear the actor, it seems like Pee-Wee Herman is still going to be around the Disney parks as often as he chooses. Which might be a good idea to bring a pen and paper, just in case you run across him and you can get his autograph.
