Pee Straight, a new personal appliance that promises to keep your bathroom surroundings dry and clean, is on sale today in China. This bizarre looking device, which is designed to help you with your aim, was invented out of necessity, according to NBC News on Sept. 3.
Apparently a light bulb went on in some creative mind when a new law was passed in the city of Shenzhen. This law gives sanitation managers and other officials the authority to levy a $15 fine against anyone who misses the toilet, causing a mess. The Shenzhen City Public Toilet Management Act recently passed as a law and this is a device designed to ward off those fines!
The Pee Straight is not much to look at, it is a simple funnel, one that you can find in most kitchens. It has a tube attached to it to direct the urine to the spot where you wish it to go. This is a product that is made for males and females, the female Pee Strait has a shorter pipe. The advertising for the portable urinal enhancer is aimed at “those who have trouble with their aim.”
The cost is $1.65 each, which is not a bad bargain, but the Pee Straight looks quite bulky to carry around with you through the day. It might just be too much work to keep this with you and keep it clean just to ensure your aim is perfect at any of the public restrooms you may need to use during the day. You would need to clean it after every use, which could be embarrassing while in a crowded public restroom.
You can imagine it may start to smell after a few uses, which is a problem most would not care to deal with. The folks who put the Pee Straight on the market are also advertising it as a devise that not only perfects your aim, but it also gives you privacy when you use it. With this funnel-tube device you can pee in a public restroom without the worry of prying eyes. What will folks think of next?
