The Chicago Cubs organization has announced that "An Evening with Pearl Jam" will take place on July 19. As for baseball at Wrigley, stay tuned. That is still a work in progress.
The show, which will be presented by Live Nation and Wrigley Field, should be be just that - a jam. Tickets go on sale Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. The band's website does have this information. "We are excited to announce two special Pearl Jam live performances to take place in London, Ontario and at Chicago’s Wrigley Field in July Both evenings will be 'An Evening with Pearl Jam'; there will not be an opening band for either performance date."
The Cubs announced the tour today (Jan. 23) today on Twitter and elsewhere, too. Vedder has sung "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" more than once during games. He even has attended Cubs fantasy camp.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. Vedder also penned a song "All the Way," which is about the team. The songs he played with Springsteen "My Hometown," "Darkness on the Edge of Town," and "Atlantic City."
