Family and British authorities were bewildered by the death of Peaches reports The Washington Post on May 1, 2014. According to reports in London Peaches Geldof died in a manner which was tragically similar to that of her mother, Paula Yates. Yates died from a heroin overdose in 2000 while she was caring for Peaches’ younger half-sister, Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof. There is an inquest about her death set for Thursday. The initial autopsy report was inconclusive and the final determination of the cause of death is awaiting a toxicology report.

Hutchence Geldof has had a rough life. Her father, INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence, was found dead in his hotel room when she was just 16 months old. Than when she was just four, her mother died of a heroin overdose. After her mother's death Bob Geldof was given primary custody of Hutchence Geldof, whom he adopted, to keep her close by the side of her sisters, Peaches, Pixie, and Fifi Trixibelle. Hutchence Geldof is now struggling to cope with the death of her sister.

Meanwhile, Bob Geldof is still trying to find something nice in life in the midst of all of this tragedy. The Live Aid founder has proposed to the French actress Jeanne Marine. The couple has dated for 18 years. They are trying hard to find some happiness to bring them through the sadness of the death of Peaches Geldof.
