TV personality and model Peaches Geldof, daughter of musician Bob Geldof, was pronounced dead on Monday. CNN states the Kent police issued a statement saying the 25 year-old woman was pronounced dead after paramedics were called to her address near Wrotham.
"At this stage, the death is being treated as an unexplained and sudden death," Kent police said. "Officers are working to establish the circumstances around the death."
Bob Geldof stated, "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," the statement reads. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh.
"What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever."
Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof worked as a writer, model and TV presenter. Peaches was married to musician Thomas Cohen. She was the mother of two young children, ages 2 and 1. Both children were born in April.
According to USA Today Cohen said, "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra, and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her forever.”
The BBC states that officers are still working on the cause of death. Geldof was born in 1989 and launched her career at the young age of 15. She left home at 16 to contribute to the Guardian and the Telegraph as well as TV shows.
Her last modeling job was last week. She attended a launch for Tesco’s F&F clothing in London. Thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of sadness.
