PCH winners receive thousands, Georgia's neighboring state one of the lucky

PCH winner Barbie Tallent of Soddy Daisy, TN doubled her prize from $10,000 to $20,000 by being a PCH Superfan on Facebook.

PCH Prize Patrol was on the road again this week, delivering $20,000 on Tuesday to Barbie Tallent in Soddy Daisy, TN, which is just up the road from North Georgia. And photos taken of the winner put some Facebook skeptics to shame, since WTVC News Channel 9 confirmed on Jan. 14 that one of their own had won a Publishers Clearing House prize.

Today another sweepstakes winner for Midland, PA got a visit from the prize patrol and his name was Dave Raffa. Winning $10,000 will help Raffa pay off some of his bills he said. And isn't that a blessing during this time of year?

Unfortunately, Georgia remains one state that can't boast a PCH Superprize winner yet. But Feb. 28's big $1 Million-a-Year Forever prize award date is just around the corner, and the sweepstakes company has also promised to deliver thousands of dollars at least once a month, every month, this entire year, to some lucky winners. So surely someone in the Peach state will play and take home a superprize in 2014?

It isn't too late to enter to win a lot of other great prizes and cash amounts to be awarded this year from PCH, like the $3 Million Dollars Dream Home prize, which will be a lump sum payout versus an actual home. If you want to win a real home instead, there is the HGTV Dream Home in Lake Tahoe you can enter to win.

PCH hasn't mentioned when they will be giving away the money to fund their dream home winner's prize in their $3 Million giveaway number 3080, but HGTV is planning on giving their winner a heads up notice in early March about who won the Tahoe home. And that new Tahoe home owner will get to take possession in early April. So hopefully Publishers will be naming a winner for their dream home prize real soon, too.

Right now Georgia's own Macon realtor Joanna "JoJo" Jones is trying to help northerners find their dream home on HGTV's "Beat the House" television show that premiered this month. And if a Georgian is lucky enough to win PCH's Dream Home prize then she would be the realtor to call for some help finding your new home. After all, everyone in the South knows that when it comes to selling houses, JoJo is all about going bigger and buying better. And with $3 million dollars her client will be able to afford to. Isn't that right Ms. Suzzane Sugarbaker?
