PC Political Correction

With all the revolting developments around the world it is not surprising that our markets are still in a corrective phase, although experts tell us that a Fright to Safety will propel US markets higher and gold lower.

Along with record highs in the Nasdaq and SPX, we also see record Margin Debt (monthly posting) and bond ETF inflows (??), while stock ETFs saw money going back into MMFs. My cumulative Advance/Decline total is also at a record, with new highs to lows near a 10:1 ratio. Commercial traders of Gold have stepped up selling and Insider Selling of Officers and Board members continues to be strong - even after the new year.
