With Tomb Raider winding down toward the end of my first run, Lara's adventures will definitely be played through a second and probably even third time, but that comes later. So far, the scope of the journey has been immense, and the personal story has pulled me in, giving me the motivation to see it through to the end as well as explore the island's mysteries. At the same time, The Old Republic has entered my gaming library out of curiosity and I think I'm in trouble. So in order to sway my focus here's what's coming out this week.
The PC version of Resident Evil 6 is on the way and looks to be the definitive version featuring configurable options (including FOV), more enemies on the screen at once, as well as DLC that comes packaged with the game. What's the big deal about that you ask? Well, our console brethren had to pay for it, while PC gamers will be getting it for free.
Continuing with the zombie theme, also out, is The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. It follows the story of Daryl and Merle Dixon as they survive the walker menace. Lastly, Trials Evolution is finally hitting the PC in the form of the Gold Edition. Riding bikes and breaking bones? Sign me up.
Here's the PC game release list for this week, according to Shacknews:
The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct
Trials Evolution: Gold Edition
