It might be tough even thinking about this week's PC game release list, especially if you've been adventuring as the - always falling through objects and getting hurt - Lara Croft, in the newest Tomb Raider. I mean, I don't blame you, there's just something about Lara's journey that's intriguing and very much personally grounded, as it depicts a person trying to survive as well as explore, even as she slaughters the crazy island hobo population by the hundreds. So far, the pacing is really well done as each segment gives you better equipment and ample challenge, giving the player a sense of progression. Bottom line, it's really good! But, if Tomb Raider just isn't your cup of tea, there are some titles this week that just might be the right flavor.
I'll admit I never beat the single-player campaign for Starcraft II. I was busy playing the multi-player portion and even then, I wasn't very good. I think it's why Heart of the Swarm isn't on my anticipated games list this year, however, there are definitely plenty of people waiting to continue the story, plus head into multi-player for some fierce Zerg-Terran-Protoss action.
Also on tap is the sequel to Sniper: Ghost Warrior, titled, well, there's a 2 at the end. With feedback from the players, is the sequel going to be what the original wasn't? Hopefully it'll end up being an improved game. We'll see. Here's the entire PC game release list for this week according to Shacknews:
