While console players will get to play the rebooted version of Devil May Cry this week, PC owners will have to wait until the 25th of January to see how good of a job Capcom will do with said version. Hopefully the adventures of Dante will be able to spurn a new series of games with its much louder, neon, and punk-ish style.
On the PC release side of things, there's only one release and it's a free to play game, titled "Wizardry Online". Wizardry Online is an MMORPG developed by Gamepot, Inc. Just think Gamespot with out the "s". At least that's how I'll remember it for the duration of this article. But anyway, in true MMO fashion, you'll create your own character, explore and advance. To differentiate itself, Wizardry Online includes the potential for "Permadeath", in which case it's as bad as it sounds. There's a chance you'll lose your character forever if you die. You can bypass it by sacrificing items to lower your chances, but the best way the game states you survive, is to group with trusted allies using skill based combat.
Since there's only one release this week for PC, there's really no need to put the game in a list of one. But I'm going to do it anyway. Here's the PC game release list for this week:
