PBC’s grand ‘Battle of the Books’ competition results

PBC’s grand 'Battle of the Books' competition results are in, and the winner in the elementary school category is Citrus Cove; in the middle school category, Polo Park and at the high school level, Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Over 2,000 students from 56 elementary, middle, and high schools around the School District of Palm Beach County recently convened at The Education Network to see who would have bragging rights for being excellent readers.

Feb. 7, 2014 marked the fifth year the event has been held with 600 teams registering for the competition. Winning schools received a trophy; first and second place teams received medals and all participants received a certificate (2nd place teams are Waters Edge Elementary, Roosevelt Middle and Suncoast Community High School).
