Pay-TV streaming service is in the works by Amazon

The success by Amazon has never ceased to be impressive. Now Amazon has come up with something new and is planning on a pay-TV streaming service, reported Live Trading News on Jan. 22, 2014. According to a report in the Wall Street Journal Amazon has announced it is in the early stages of developing a pay-TV streaming service which will offer live programming.

At this time Amazon offers on-demand TV shows and movies for free to customers who are members of Amazon’s premium shipping service plan, Prime. Amazon is said to have approached at least 3 media companies about the firms new venture. Representatives for Amazon have not as of this time replied to requests for comments about a new proposed pay-TV streaming service.

Fox Business Network also reports Amazon is planning a pay-TV streaming service. At this time Amazon is the largest online retailer in the world. Sources say Sony and Verizon are also looking into this type of service. MandelMall.com offers Amazon products for sale online.
