PAWS Charity Golf Tournament in Las Vegas

I was saving for a rainy day!

Who knew that screaming "Four!" during a golf game was actually a shout out to our furry, quadruped family members? On Saturday June 7th, golfers from around the country will converge on Bear's Best Las Vegas golf course for the 4th Annual PAWS Charity Golf Tournament.
PAWS - Pet Awareness and Welfare Services is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to pet parents in need and no-kill rescue groups throughout Las Vegas. Founder, Jennifer Luczak recognized that pet parents sometimes experience financial hardship and are unable to provide their fur babies with the medical attention they need. She, along with several dedicated volunteers, work to ensure that these animals get the help they need. Proceeds from this tournament will fund programs such as PAWS Spay/Neuter Voucher program which helps to reduce pet overpopulation by covering part of the cost of pet sterilization, the PAWS Pet Emergencies program that provides funds to assist with medical and non-medical emergencies, and the PAWS Pet Rescues which assists other non-profits so they can carry out their missions. Since its inception, PAWS has raised over a quarter million dollars to support these services and provide assistance for the community.
Need more convincing? Check out the Coin Puppy. This poor little guy fashioned himself a piggy bank and swallowed coins before the rescue group got him. He was sick as a dog (pun intended) just two days after being with his new family. They did what they could for him, but the vet bills were more than his parents could handle. PAWS stepped in and Pennies became a happy, 21 cent lighter puppy.
The Charity Golf Tournament costs $200 per player and include 18 holes of golf and a cart, a BBQ lunch, silent auction, awards ceremony, gifts and prizes. In addition, golfers can bid on a bevy of beautiful caddy girls. For more information and to register, visit their website .
Come spend a beautiful day on the green and support this amazing cause!
