Dogs shouldn’t drink scotch. When they do, they strip down to their fur and perform off key renditions of “Sweet Caroline”. People however, should drink scotch… especially when it's to support a wonderful cause. In a few weeks, PAWS (Pet Awareness and Welfare Services) in Las Vegas is offering a wonderful opportunity to do just that.

On Saturday September 20th 2014, PAWS will host a Charity Dinner with Scotch and Wine Tasting at Bear’s Best Golf Course from 6:30 to 10:30 PM. Dinner will be served under the stars with a magnificent view of the Las Vegas Strip and a bevy of tasty spirits. Tickets are just $65 per person and can be purchased on their website or call (702)232-1132.

PAWS is a 501(c)3 organization that provides financial assistance to pet owners suffering from hardship whether it be through income, age or illness. They assist with emergency veterinary care, spay and neuter discounts and also provide help to other animal rescues throughout Las Vegas so that they can continue their life saving programs.

The organization is entirely volunteer based and relies on fundraisers and donations to continue their good work. Has there ever been a better time or reason to drink? Get your tickets today (they must be purchased in advance) and help support animals in need. Visit their website or Facebook for more information.
