Pawn Stars” fans have noticed that Corey Harrison doesn't look like he once did and that is a good thing. The character on the reality show known as “Big Boss” has dropped a lot of weight and it is completely recognizable to all the loyal followers of the show. According to Page Six on Friday, the man has dropped 192 pounds and looks completely different.

So why the sudden concern about his weight? His doctor put him on preventative diabetes medication back in 2010. Weighing in at 402 pounds, he was scared about what might happen to him in the future. The decision was drastic, but essential for him at the time.

Corey Harrison now weighs 210 pounds and is watching what he eats. Still making sure that his weight loss is a serious goal, he told People Magazine on Thursday that he gets the lap band checked once a month. Putting his health first, the new look on TV is partly because Corey has changed his health priorities. He goes to the gym often and he makes time to keep physical activities a priority in everything he does.

This weight loss follows a dramatic change for the cast member Chumlee Austin "Chumlee" Russell. The weight loss revelation left fans impressed and people wanted to know more about what was changing at the Las Vegas pawn store. Obviously, health has been a discussion behind the scenes as people are seeing a big different in the cast.

“Pawn Stars” focuses on the buying and selling at a pawn star shop in Las Vegas. Revealing different items that are brought into the store to be pawned, the cast usually focuses on the transactions. However, the weight change has everyone wondering what might be happening at this pawn shop and giving people a reason to consider the gastric band procedure if looking for a weight loss alternative as Harrison is living proof it works.
