Pawn Stars' Chumlee Death is a Hoax that originated with the "ebuzzd" tabloid

Pawn Stars' Chumlee,31, is alive and well according to his tweet after the death rumors started circulating on social media March 12, 2014.

Chumlee's real name is Austin Russell, and shortly after the rumors of his death by heart attack started trending he tweeted, "May we live long, Rich forever."

His co-star Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars' also went to Twitter saying, ".@chumlee_ is ALIVE & WELL! He is 101 lbs down & in the best health of his life! Thanks for your concern! He is filming today at GS Pawn."

The death hoax took off on social media like wildfire saddening the hearts of fans across the globe.

The false information originated in a celebrity tabloid called "ebuzzd." that reported that Chumlee has in fact died of a heart attack associated with recent and rapid weight loss.

This is the same site that falsely reported the death of Betty White,92, actress, last month.

The reality star, Chumlee is alive and well. He has been a part of the hit reality show Pawn Stars since 2009 and will continue to be a part of the show which is now in its 11th season.
