Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D (not that he needs the Jersey Shore prefix anymore) will spin at the iHeartRadio Festival 2011 this weekend (September 23 & 24) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The celebrity DJ was added as a special guest performer to a jam-packed lineup of big names including Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Steven Tyler, Cold Play, and Kenny Chesney - just to name a few.
With Ryan Seacrest as the host and a who's who of the music industry set to perform tickets for the iHeartRadio Festival reportedly sold out in less than 10 minutes. The two-day music festival is being billed as the biggest live music event in radio history. "This is a once-in-a-generation gathering of artists and fans from all over the country for a true, must-see music event," Seacrest said. "The iHeartRadio Music Festival like the iHeartRadio digital radio service, will showcase top artists across all genres of music. Listeners...(will) celebrate the next generation of iHEARTRADIO, while seeing the greatest musicians in the world on one stage."
The iHeartRadio Festival marks the kickoff of the new iHeartRadio app which will go head-to-head with Pandora. The iHeartRadio app and iHeartRadio website will offer access to the programming of more than 750 Clear Channel stations. Live performances from the iHeartRadio Festival will be live streamed on iHeartRadio.com.
Jersey Shore Season 4 airs Thursdays on MTV at 10pm ET/PT.
